Welcome to the Loop!

Many thanks to everyone who came out tonight to drop by for Open House! Thank you also to our hard-working PTO for the special popcorn treat! We had so many wonderful parents and family members stop by with their student to say hello, it was hard to get to chat with everyone, but it was great to see such a response. Our Open House nights seem to get bigger every year, which reminds all of us that our SMS students are the best!

So, just a few reminders for tomorrow...

When fifth graders arrive they will go directly to our PAC. I will be there to greet you and we will walk to our classroom together.

Sixth graders will line up in the gym, and Mrs. Sullivan will greet you, and walk you to her classroom.

We will go over schedules, and tour your rooms, make sure you are familiar with your bus routes, and practice the regular schedule that will start on Thursday. Tomorrow, we will also issue, combinations, and practice using your locker.

Please go over the welcome packet that you were given tonight to be familiar with contact numbers and expectations.

Tonight is the hardest time in the year to fall asleep, for teachers, as well as parents and students! I am so excited to begin this journey with you and your family! See you bright and early tomorrow morning!
